Learner of the Month Nominations - Stephen

Stephen has been nominated for learner of the month by his Assessor for outstanding progress and commitment to the training programme.

When Stephen started training with us, a level 2 Apprenticeship, he was actually very nervous and needed additional learning support to help him progress. Despite his nerves and his support needs, Stephen achieved his Apprenticeship by his planned end date.

He proved to be an exemplary Apprentice, attending all scheduled training and workplace visits, with little fuss. Stephen produced excellent work, showing great commitment to the programme.

He was very nervous with Maths, but he attended the specific support classes with our maths tutor and these really helped him. He achieved his functional skills qualifications.

After recently completing his Apprenticeship, Stephen has now progressed to an Advanced Apprenticeship and has great praise for Alder Training. His recent initial assessments for his new programme show the progress he has made, meaning he will not have additional support needs on his level 3 programme. Recent observations of Stephen in the workplace have impressed us, demonstrating his commitment to, and respect for, his Core Members. We also witnessed the respect he has from others.
