Alder Training have joined The Regenda Group!

Alder Training Limited have become part of the growing Regenda Group. Alder and The Regenda Group are the perfect fit as we share the same goals; we will be working together to deliver our vision for sustainable regeneration in our neighbourhoods, through improving the life chances of individuals, families and communities.

Who are The Regenda Group?

The Regenda Group is made up of Regenda Homes and its wholly-owned subsidiaries Redwing Living (private rented properties, leasehold and apartment block management and shared ownership and sales), M&Y Maintenance and Construction, McDonald Property Rentals in Lancashire, which is a subsidiary of Redwing Living, and Petrus Community and most recently Alder Training.

The Regenda Group is well established. Formed in 2001, within 10 years it was joined by five housing associations, dating back to 1963: West Pennine and the Limehurst Village Trust in Oldham, Templar in Macclesfield, Wyre in Poulton-le-Fylde and Maritime in Liverpool.

The name Regenda is a combination of “regeneration” and “agenda”, reflecting a history of regenerating buildings and neighbourhoods.

Together, The Regenda Group gained a reputation for innovation, with greater financial stability and a wide variety of housing. 2009 brought an opportunity to provide a better value repairs service by buying M&Y Maintenance and Construction. The Regenda Group went on to increase our commercial activity, buying McDonald Property Rentals (a private lettings agency) and creating Redwing Living (a private rent and shared ownership company). These commercial enterprises contribute some of their profits to enable Regenda Homes to provide affordable housing, owning or managing around 13,000 properties in the North West. In the last few years, the Independent Living service has been created, launching a successful Community Apprentice Scheme and returned to our regeneration roots.
